Born and raised on St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands, Charles “Pollo” Goodings Jr. is a 26-year-old musician and entrepreneur who holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications from the University of the Virgin Islands. Founder & CEO of the clothing brand, Apollo Legion, LLC and bass guitar player for the popular Calypso/Soca band, Kylo & the Stylee Band, Charles manages all social media platforms, meets production deadlines, and attends all rehearsals and band gigs.

Apollo Legion, LLC debuted in 2016 and is a casual clothing line for men, women and children. The styles include casual t-shirts, crop tops, body suits, professional polo shirts, backpacks and accessories. Charles’ passion for his business comes through when he speaks about the company. “When talking about my business side I am owner and part creator of my clothing brand and accessories line called Apollo Legion and one day I hope it turns out to make a fashion statement around the world,” said Charles. Charles recalls his love for music began when he was in junior high school.“When talking about my musical career, I started out playing trombone for my junior high concert band and then over the years I've been learning other instruments. Once I found out about the bass guitar I was hooked,” he explained. Charles’ love for the bass guitar led him to practice and master the intricate chords needed to play the fast-paced rhythms for Kylo and the Stylee Band.  He even works as a DJ for Marvelus Sound Productions. “Even extending my talents musically I can say I am a song-writer and an experienced disc jockey,” said Charles. Kylo & the Stylee Band became very popular in 2008 and since then the band has been featured in many well-known Caribbean and U.S. Carnivals. They play each year for the St. Croix, St. Thomas and St. John Villages and Jouverts. They also perform on weekends at various clubs throughout the Virgin Islands.

Charles’ passion, strong work-ethic and drive to make his dreams a reality can be seen in the work he puts in each day. He manages the social media accounts for the band and the business and doesn't miss the latest events happening around town.  In addition, while growing his following for his businesses and projects Charles makes sure to support those who support him. Last November, Apollo Legion donated $100 in proceeds to a cancer organization through the Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. When asked why he chose to these different industries to break into Charles, replied, “Everything I did or do in life is because I loved or wanted to do it. Some people call me passionate and I think that's the reason why.”
